I have owned 4 scanners over a period of 10 years. This inexpensive and lightweight one is definitely the best. I think the best feature is not having to plug it into an electrical outlet, simply plug it into a USB port. It scans at a nominal rate and because of it’s portability it can be put up when not in use.

The Canon LiDE 100 is a great product. It only took twenty minutes from start to finish for installation. The images are excellant and the unit is easy to use.

I needed a scanner to use once a year or so because sometimes I need to send a document via e-mail with a signature. This is a great way to do that without spending a lot of money.
